Selecting the Right Magnetic Board Size
Magnetic boards are designed to complement map dimensions, creating a balanced and harmonious look.
Here’s how to select the right size:
- Choose your map size (or measure your existing one).
- On the board’s product page, open the visual guide in the photo gallery showing size combinations.
- Select the appropriate chart based on whether your map is horizontal, vertical, or square. Find your map’s measurements, and you’ll see the recommended board sizes and hanging orientation listed next to them.
For example, if your map measures 100×70 cm, a 100×20 cm board fits perfectly below it, while 70×40 cm boards are ideal for the sides.

Where and How to Hang Your Maps and Boards
Canvas and wood products require stable indoor conditions:
👍 They work best in rooms without high humidity or extreme temperature changes. Ideally, avoid placing them in direct sunlight.
👎 Do not display them outdoors, in humid areas, unheated spaces, or basements.
Both maps and boards come ready to hang, with sawtooth hooks already attached to the back—you just need to prepare the wall anchors.
Because magnetic boards are heavy and rigid, we don’t recommend adhesive hooks. If they detach, the board could fall, causing damage or injury. The most reliable solution is to screw anchors into the wall, ensuring everything stays secure.
